Wiccans’ ‘Automaton’ Is Firing on All Cylinders

Wiccans have been playing some extremely fast, fun hardcore punk for the past eight years. Recently, the band dropped a new single, "Automaton," from their upcoming third record on Dull Tools (owned by their former guitarist, Parquet Courts' Andrew Savage). The band has no problem mixing up multiple styles; just when you think they'll riff along normally, they throw in a total curveball, ripping into aggro solos. Their chord progressions are unmatched, each guitarist knowing exactly when certain parts will come off best.
