Taiwan Housing Project Throw on Their ‘Veblen Death Mask’

Taiwan Housing Project is a thrilling new group comprised of members of some of your favorite acts (Tyvek, Harry Pussy, Little Claw). Today you can hear "Veblen Death Mask," a wild and noisy work of weirdo punk off their forthcoming LP of the same name. The band takes up the great tradition of fellow Kill Rock Stars artists, totally pushing the boundaries of what can be done with sound, à la the Paper Chase and Xiu Xiu. Guitars spark along the tune, sounding like out-of-control hot rods about to crash into the crowd. The video — directed by Donald Bruno and Kilynn Lunsford — combines a variety of strange, disturbing images to keep you on the edge of your seat.
