Lest we lump them in with the legions of Joy Division worshippers out there, Soviet Soviet's brand of post-punk dabbles in shoegaze textures, snarling basslines and even some ambiance across the nine tracks that make up their Endless LP. Most importantly, though, the record, due December 2 via Felte, doesn't shy away from hooks, cramming in influences that cover the gamut of '80s New Romanticism.
