Jenny Hval has been getting us incredibly excited about the prospect of her new album for months now. Today, all that waiting can finally come to an end, as she's now streaming Blood Bitch in its entirety.

The album is truly Hval at her finest; never before has her music been so atmospheric and enchanting at the same time. Conceptually, she's also at the top of her game, incorporating comparisons of womanhood and vampirism, the common thread of blood coursing throughout tracks like "Female Vampire" and "In the Red." The previously released "Conceptual Romance" sounds excellent in context of the album, giving the entire thing a very balanced level of texture and sonics. Its a thoroughly versatile affair, weaving together horror and mundanity, heavy and light, beautiful and strange.
