Endon Hurtle ‘Through the Mirror’ Into a Hornet’s Nest of Noise

Japanese noise outfit Endon are hell-bent on taking heavy metal to its most chaotic ends. This June, the band will release their latest crusher, Through the Mirror (on Hydra Head, no less!), and today they're premiering the video for the title track. The song immediately throws you for a loop, guitars almost emulating human screams before the band transitions into the meat of the matter. Visually, the clip takes you on a total head trip, obscure images coming together at a dizzying pace. The band affords small breaths of air, melody taking hold for just seconds before everything plummets into total destruction. Swarming guitars ultimately take over, Endon playing at a breakneck speed that conjoins fatal rhythms, heated riffs and moments of near bliss.
