There's a lot of humans doing the music justice, but Drab Majesty is probably the best interdimensional being making post-punk right now. Drab's got a new record coming out, The Demonstration, due January 20 on Dais. It's going to be the work of something way past humanity, as you can determine via first single "Cold Souls." The track features a meticulous, constantly building sound that's like a time warp incorporating all kinds of sounds from the '80s to today. Deb Demure didn't come alone on the track; she's joined by True Widow vocalist Nicole Estill. It's a good introduction to the mystique and power the record will have, a reality-bending dreamscape of sounds that's guaranteed to be lush. Check out the song and tour dates below.
