Sharon Van Etten is multi-talented, her voice able to cast a spell of delight for anyone who chooses to listen. Today, the singer has released her part in the upcoming compilation Resistance Radio, headed by Danger Mouse and Sam Cohen. The compilation is a tie-in with the new season of Amazon's The Man in the High Castle, the sci-fi series based on Philip K. Dick's 1962 novel. It features a variety of artists covering popular songs out of the '60s, and Van Etten has contributed with her cover of Skeeter Davis' "The End of the World" (if you're a nerd, you might recognize the song from the Fallout 4 soundtrack). Her voice sounds totally in place with the rest of the sweeping orchestration, as beautiful and haunting as the original.
