Rostam Takes a Long Trip in ‘Gwan’

Ever since he left Vampire Weekend, Rostam has proven to be an extremely capable multi-instrumentalist, appearing on last year's I Had a Dream You Were Mine with Hamilton Leithauser. Today, he released a new single and video for "Gwan," a track that delivers on both atmosphere and catchiness. The clip shows him traveling around various locations in New York City. There's a twinge of melancholy strewn throughout, but this is ultimately a positive, beautiful and melodious song that makes us want to hear more of what Rostam has to offer.
