Midnight Are ‘Ready for Destruction’ With New Ripper

The freight train known as Midnight has returned, this time packaging four new songs into the Shox of Violence compilation. Covering everyone from the Spits and Pagans to even the mighty Venom, Midnight are back to show the world what sleazy rock is all about. Look for the LP February 20 on Hells Headbangers. In the meantime, the Cleveland gods of filth are back with a new rallying cry from that LP, "Ready for Destruction." As with their other work, the new track uses a galloping Motörhead blueprint as the means to destruction, with Athenar's reverb-heavy vocals punctuating the proceedings with a little extra "fuck you," just for good measure.
