Lift to Experience Explain Themselves ‘As God Intended’

Lift to Experience were an indie band that burned bright and quick. The Denton, Texas outfit only released one full-length, the double LP The Texas-Jerusalem Crossroads, and a series of singles. Now the band is set to re-release a four-piece vinyl box set, and today they've dropped a short film going through their history: As God Intended. In the video, they recount their early days and ambitions, wanting to separate from the vast pack of artists primarily influenced by shoegaze and other indie. They go in-depth about living in Denton, where they rehearsed, and how all they cared about was making a good record. It's a nice look into what the band was all about.
