Lamb of God make riffing hard look pretty easy. The Richmond, Va., heavy metal squad has been together for over 20 years (counting the Burn the Priest era), releasing albums filled to the brim with sweet riffs, killer drumming and anything that will get your blood pumping fast. Today they drop new track "The Duke," off their upcoming EP of the same name, which drops this Friday. The song features a nice change-up in the formula via Randy Blythe's pipes going for singing-singing. Over the noise of the rest of the track, Blythe reminds us that he can pull off excellent, vulnerable clean vocals as easily as he can the harshness. But it's not all niceties, as the song spins off into a killer solo to wrap things up.
