King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard’s ‘Sleep Drifter’ Is No Snooze

King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard recently announced their nefarious plot to release five full-lengths over the course of 2017. Flying Microtonal Banana, which arrives next month via ATO, is the first LP out of the gate: a clattering, distinctly Eastern-tinged record, if the previously-shared "Rattlesnake" and "Nuclear Fusion" provide any indication. Today, the Australian psych-garage band has unveiled "Sleep Drifter," another Eastern-influenced nugget off the upcoming record.
