Joan of Arc's sound has been evolving for over 20 years. What started off as dreamy, Midwestern emo so many years ago has gradually developed, showing a band unafraid to experiment with their DNA. Today, they've released the video for "Stranged That Egg Yolk," a new song off their upcoming He's Got the Whole This Land Is Your Land in His Hands. The song is moody and bassy, incorporating loud undertones with strange instrumentals and off-kilter singing that moves in and out of itself. The video also features guest star Mike Kinsella (brother of frontman Tim) as a cryogenically frozen, just-revived man in a new world. It's a great new direction for the band on a record full of many surprises. Check out next year's tour dates after the video.
