Hello Black Hole, the new project from former Beastmilk member Johan "Goatspeed" Snell, are a lot stranger under the surface than they may outwardly seem. You can see as much in their new video for "Five Hundred Rocks to Throw," from their upcoming Svart EP, In No Good Hand. The clip shows a lot of different sensory textures and objects in motion, all strange and gross in their own way. Similarly, you can probably categorize the band's music as a little strange and gross. The power-alternative band opens with a riff you'd probably hear from their peers, but they take a decided left turn with their music, making its structure not so digestible. It's all for a good cause, letting the band incorporate new sounds and noises in subtle ways that you won't see coming.
