Cloak are a four-piece out of Brooklyn with an ear for strange electronic melodies and hooks that you won't be able to ignore. The group is set to release their debut EP, We Will All Be Equal Soon, and today they're premiering the entire thing. Opener "Understand" sets the tone, synths raining down through a noise-coated filter. Its this technique that makes their work stand out from the rest of the pack, as what would be a familiar dance track with smooth synths becomes a totally new beast in the beats of "Regrow." Creative decisions like these allow Cloak's perspective on various genres to shine, not to mention distinguish them as a band with a lot more in store.
