Car Seat Headrest Take ‘Drunk Drivers’ to Fallon

It's easy to get discouraged about the few rock bands that late night TV shows decide to promote. Usually, it's the same kind of lame garbage that's indistinguishable from lame pop music, congealing to create something extraordinarily inoffensive. But once in a while, you get thrown a bone, like Car Seat Headrest appearing on last night's episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Will Toledo and his crew came onto the show to perform Teens of Denial cut "Drunk Drivers / Killer Whales." The band was backed by the Roots, adding an extra layer of instrumentation. It's funny to watch them all on stage, totally into their music. Hopefully, this won't be the last time they're on network TV.
