Featuring members of the Rival Mob, Magic Circle, Innumerable Forms, Think I Care and more, Battle Ruins' 2014 self-titled LP flew out of the gate and started fetching obnoxious prices from collectors and fans. And for good reason: Battle Ruins combines metallic and hardcore riffs with Oi sensibilities and hooks, making for a melodic and repeatable effort.

Battle Ruins have a new track to show off now: "Glorious Dead Lay Under Waves" is a three-minute heater that moves in similar ways. The song will be available on their three-song cassette, available in limited numbers at the band's forthcoming U.S. debut show in Cambridge on April 22, when they team with the Templars, Boston Strangler, Fit for Abuse and Shipwrecked. The gig is already sold out, so ask a friend if you want to attend.

In the meantime, dig on the new track above, as well as the band's last LP below.
