Weyes Blood's upcoming Front Row Seat to Earth is shaping up to be immaculate. A month ago, she put out her single "Do You Need My Love" (along with the video), a hint at what's to come. Today we're seeing more killer aesthetics via the new video for "Generation Why," directed by Natalie Mering herself. It features Mering and two dudes wandering listlessly through a variety of scenarios. Their world seems to be a large desert wasteland; any signs of culture are at a minimum. Scenes of kicking water coolers and getting doused in gasoline intertwine with WB's music and the large sense of space being created. It's a striking series of scenes that provides interesting visual context for the music.
