The Reptilian Have ‘No Path,’ but One Hell of a Green Screen
This past September, the Reptilian quietly released End Paths, one of the year's best screamo records. (Seriously, skramz acolytes, you should check it out if you haven't already.) The Michigan trio is gearing up to take the record on tour later this week, but before they hit the road, they've gone and shared a music video for album highlight "No Path." Directed, edited and shot by Ina Foster-Goodrich, the no-frills clip finds the Reptilian making the most out of their green screen rental: Thanks to Goodrich's technological wizardry, we see the Kalamazoo natives performing in front of grainy home videos, rivers, deserts, the sky and (in an ostensible nod to the End Paths artwork) a nest. Behold the magic below, and scroll down to check out the Reptilian's upcoming tour dates.
Read our Trials of Job interview with the Reptilian's Jonathan Sacha, in which the frontman opens up on his dark, dark past as a former Arby's employee.
The Reptilian's new album, End Paths, is out now via Skeletal Lightning, Community Records, and I.CORRUPT.RECORDS. Nab it here.
