Juno, Giphy, Siri — the list of things that Tacocat neglect in their latest video for "The Internet" is a travesty. That said, the Seattle indie-pop quartet does go heavy on emojis, Notepad, Twitter, Google Docs, Tinder, Uber and other facets of computer geekdom in the clip, which tackles online harassment head-on. The video doubles as a pseudo-lyric video, cycling through aspects of our everyday technology with familiar GIFs and memes, all the while tagging haters with passages like "human mosquito, no conversation, only vitriol." Check it out below and look for Tacocat on tour at a venue near you. Lost Time is out now via Hardly Art.
