Nails and Full of Hell Reign Hard on New Split

When a band drops an excellent album, you'd think they'd take it easy afterwards. But if you're in Nails or Full of Hell, moving onto another project is always on your mind, and both kill it on their new split EP from Closed Casket Activities. Each brought heat earlier this year with Nails' You Will Never Be One of Us and Full of Hell's One Day You Will Ache Like I Ache (the latter being a collaboration with the Body), but clearly they've got much more left in the tank. Nails' contribution in "No Longer Under Your Control" shows the band introducing more noise and anger into the mix — it's like being thrown into a wall repeatedly. Full of Hell crank their hardcore into all-out metallic destruction, with vocalist Dylan Walker pushing himself to crazy new heights. Both bands are at the top of their game, and you'd be a fool to overlook this split.
