Merchandise Woke Up All of Tampa Bay on ‘Morning Blend’

You usually know what you're going to get with a morning talk show: a lot of cheeriness from extremely sculpted-looking people, maybe a dumb recipe or two around whatever holiday is coming up, and weather coverage. Waking up to check what's on TV, you probably wouldn't expect to see post-punk maestros Merchandise blow the hell out of your screen. Today, the band appeared on their hometown of Tampa Bay's local morning show, Morning Blend, to wake everybody way the hell up. The two hosts talked with the band, asking them what genre they play ("Country AND Western") and comparing them to their favorite band, The Killers. It was a wild sight to see, and what a better way to get some heat behind their upcoming record A Corpse Wired for Sound?
