Last year, Inter Arma released their third full-length, Paradise Gallows, an album successfully combining their penchant for sludge with all types of extreme music. Today, the band has released a new video for the title track, a sprawling 12-minute cut that shows off their subtlety and might. Its opening section takes its time, creating an atmosphere with bare guitar and vocals. A third of the way through, they kick into the heaviness, as the song starts to crush while still maintaining its atmosphere. The visuals capture the feeling perfectly, shots of endless galaxies cut alongside volcanoes, a cycle of beauty and destruction.
