Hans Zimmer Brought Cinematic Substance to Coachella

Hans Zimmer has been responsible for scoring a lot of your favorite big-budget, epic-scale, modern action films. In a surprising, but refreshing pick, Coachella added the German composer to their lineup, closing out the weekend on Sunday. For his performance, Zimmer brought out an entire orchestra of musicians, with guitars, drums and bass thrown in to keep it loud as hell. He performed a variety of his best-known compositions, including themes for Inception, The Dark Knight, Pirates of the Caribbean and more. Check out the performance for yourself. Who knows? Maybe Coachella will bring out John Williams next year.
