What, exactly, are the "Politics of Free"? Hey, don't look at me! You should probably be asking Woods that question. After all, the California folksters did coin the term earlier this year on their latest LP, City Sun Eater in the River of Light. The song's opening manifesto offers some clarity: "In this house of hospitality / You can fill your cup all night / 'Til you barely see constellations in the summer sky / In a world of shit, let's tune out tonight."

In other words, crack open a beer and relaaaax, man. Woods' platform consists of but a single plank: Make America chill again. Just in case you're lacking confidence in their ability to make good on their promises, the band has shared a summery clip for "Politics of Free." Directed by Robbie Simon, the video follows the band across their Pacific stomping grounds as they play a festival, sunbathe at the lake, hold a cliffside jam session and play with dogs, among other activities. Now this is an America we can believe in.

God bless the United States. God bless Woods. God bless this video. Watch it below.
