After cassettes and short releases aplenty, Detroit's favorite sons Tyvek return with their new LP, Origin of What, for In the Red Records (order yours). The band recently released the blown-out garage burner that is "Girl on a Bicycle," and have followed it up with the new record's title track. Tyvek go the way of Morricone for "Origin of What," using slow-burn guitar work and lots of reverb to channel their garage punk into something that might fit in an off-kilter western. Stream it below for the first time and pick up the record. It's worth it for any fan of lo-fi punk, garage, post-punk, indie or — dare I say it — Sergio Leone films.
