The old saying is "always leave 'em wanting more." Tony Molina has been doing that for years already, releasing several short-run EPs with Ovens and a Tony Molina "LP" clocking in at 12 minutes. His latest is the Confront the Truth EP, and it is definitely no different.

Molina's trajectory between Ovens and his solo work proves that the West Bay artist got riffs. The eight-song EP, Confront the Truth, finds Molina laying off the fuzz and focusing on clean tones, using the same emotion that drove Dissed and Dismissed. This overall demeanor drives the new one, which pairs very well with the random Beatles samples and the gorgeous acoustic passages. Dude ain't gone soft, though — he's just showing his sensitive side before he rips out another dual-lead, distortion-drenched ripper. Stream it in full below, and get yours via Slumberland.

Reminder: CLRVYNT is proud to present Tony Molina at Union Pool on November 12. Tickets are still available.
