It's still strange that there's a brand new At the Drive-In record just two days away from hitting our ears. Up to this point, they've been pretty consistent, songs like "Hostage Stamps," "Incurably Innocent" and "Governed by Contagions" providing the controlled chaos the band has been known for. Today, they're whetting our appetites once more with yet another new track, "Pendulum in a Peasant Dress." It's the band at their purest, twisting riffs with Cedric Bixler spinning machine-gun lyrics that are as complex as they are poignant. It's a good final gate to pass through before in-ter a-li-a finally arrives.
