As you are probably aware, vocalist Mike "IX" Williams has been noticeably absent from the recent Eyehategod tour with Discharge, with Randy Blythe of Lamb of God filling in. Now details have emerged on the legendary frontman's condition.

On October 10th, 2016, he was admitted to the CCU, vomiting blood. Along with internal bleeding, it was determined that his liver and kidneys were failing. He was placed on life support and dialysis. Through sheer grit and determination, he was eventually able to function on his own. We were told that he would not be leaving the hospital without a new liver. His case was presented before the board and he was approved for the transplant list. He's been hospitalized ever since.

As expected, Mike IX's expenses are astronomical as he fights for his life. To combat those expenses, they've set up a Youcaring site to help deflect the astronomical costs.  Head to their site to give if you can – the world needs the vocalist to be spitting out poison, not to be filled with it.

Get well soon.
