DAMAD Reunion Halted by Victoria Scalisi’s Illness

A few weeks ago, DAMAD sent us a note to formally notify us that they would need to cancel their January 28 appearance at Brooklyn's Saint Vitus, their first in the Northeast in decades. The reasons given were due to illness, but we had no idea things were so dire.

Today a GoFundMe page was started in frontwoman Victoria Scalsi's honor with the following details:

While gearing up to play some DAMAD reunion shows, Victoria was stopped in her tracks after being diagnosed with colorectal cancer that spread to her liver. She is receiving very good care and recovering, but the overflow of bills have been devastating. Any amount of support will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
