We've been gushing over Weyes Blood for the past couple of months. The videos for "Generation Why" and "Do You Need My Love" paired her take on chamber-folk with striking visuals and perfectly matched moods. Today, she's premiered the entirety of her new record, Front Row Seat to Earth, and it's full of all the expressiveness we've been waiting for. It opens with "Diary," a piano ballad that sets the tone atmospherically. The ensuing music never tries to whittle down her sound in order to fit any kind of metric. "Be Free" is a lush and light melody, spotlighting her romantic vocals; "Away Above" feels like end-credits music to the movie of your life, a lithe and upward beauty of a song.
