The Peacers are a San Francisco band that dabbles in garage rock and weird-guy pop music. Today, the band is premiering their video for "Haptic Chillweed," off their upcoming album, Introducing the Crimsmen. It's a smooth outsider pop tune you'd be hard-pressed to deny, reliant on a single guitar and a singer whose voice takes the song in strange directions. The video follows an elderly woman going through her house and belongings — old photos, memorabilia — all in black and white. It ends with a looming shot of some branches, a melancholy and gentle place to conclude.

Pre-order Introducing the Crimsmen, out June 16 on Drag City.
