There's no greater feeling than unearthing a long-dormant record forgotten by time. It's hard to imagine the sheer number of albums out there that have never been translated to the new digital era. Lucky for you, French cult band Soggy are undergoing a renaissance. In the '70s, the band played a mix of hard rock and punk that probably should've catapulted them to fame, and still remains timeless. "Waiting for the War" features quick riffing, whacked-out guitar parts worming their way into classic punk rhythms. Vocals go from mocking to focused in a split second, adding another layer of unpredictability. The song is tough as hell, and will make you glad that people are finally waking up to Soggy's singular approach.
