Your Pest Band Want You to Meet ‘Old Springhead’

Your Pest Band is a cool punk group out of Tokyo that's been playing some pretty wild shit since 2008. Next year, they'll be putting out Old Springhead on Dead Broke Rekerds (Snuffy Smiles in Japan, Brassneck Records in the U.K.), and if you want to see what they'll be packing, look no further than the title track. Right away, the band shows that they can be hyper-focused and precise. But when the singing comes in, they loosen up and melt a bit, getting psychedelic and wild for the chorus. The band nails their sound perfectly; with a truck full of releases under their belt, it's not hard to see how.
