Today, he's returned to his Vatican Shadow moniker to release a new single, "Rubbish of the Floodwaters," off the upcoming EP of the same name. The dark atmosphere gives way to a dancey beat, while faint chants behind the bass flare up into distortion. More effects appear for brief glimmers before disappearing just as quickly. It's an unexpected approach to a track like this, one that keeps Fernow ahead of the pack.
