The Minneapolis Uranium Club Band, or just plain Uranium Club, released their Human Exploration LP in the tail end of last year (or early this year, depending on where you're reading this). Punk is their primary propulsive vehicle, taking notes from Wire, Devo (heavily), Dow Jones and the Industrials, and others to create jagged guitar work that sits beside other favorites like the Coneheads. The LP was followed up by the similarly great "Who Made the Man?" 7", both sides of which appear on their latest offering, All of Them Naturals. The new 12", due in December 2016 via Static Shock (U.K. / EU) and "as soon as possible" on Fashionable Idiots (U.S.), also features the freshly released tracks "Opus" and "The Lottery," both of which are very much in line with their releases thus far — wiry and icy, but ultimately fun post-punk that's as smart as it is ideal to dance to.
