Cursive’s Tim Kasher Has ‘An Answer for Everything’

Tim Kasher of Cursive will probably never stop making music. The singer-songwriter has been responsible for over 15 releases, each one spotlighting a different aspect of his abilities. On March 3, he's putting out his third solo record, No Resolution, on Cursive's own label, 15 Passenger. It's a collection of 15 tracks that highlight his mind for sweeping arrangements and forward-thinking songwriting. Today, he's premiering the new track "An Answer for Everything." You might recognize elements of his other work — namely the inclusion of string instruments — but in this form, they give the song a much different affectation and sound, resulting in a bona fide suite. Kasher's voice is emotive and understated, giving the music another organic texture. It's a wonderful trip, emphasizing that Kasher will never stop growing as a musician.
