Over Spoon's 20+ year career, they've crafted pretty much every kind of song imaginable. From the noisy, unstable rock of their early days to later sweeping arrangements, their music truly runs the gamut. Today, the band has announced their new album, Hot Thoughts, their 20-years-in-the-making return to Matador. They've also dropped the first single, the title track. Guitars hop along with bells and hand claps to create Spoon's most buoyant music in a long time, proving that they're never ones to get stuck in the past.
