Sneaks Identifies a Minimalist Masterpiece in ‘Look Like That’

D.C.-based multi-instrumentalist Eva Moolchan — better known as Sneaks — is gearing up to drop her sophomore LP, It's a Myth, this week via Merge. So far, she's shared several songs from the forthcoming release, which she recorded alongside Jonah Takagi and Ex Hex's Mary Timony: "Inside Edition" and "Hair Slick Back," both post-punk bangers. She's dropped off another minimalist masterpiece today, titled "Look Like That." Its recipe contains but three components: one rubber band bassline, one perky drum machine and Moolchan's secret ingredient: that velvety croon, somewhere between Kim Gordon and Nico. Listen below.
