New York City psychedelic group Silver Apples has been a going concern since the '60s. Helmed by Simeon Coxe, the project has long taken electronic sounds and textures to new extremes, and inspired generations of strange experimentation along the way. Today, Simeon has put out a video for "The Mist," a song that will require your best set of headphones. The listener is thrown into a swirling, ever-growing sea of different sounds and shapes, overlaid by Simeon's whispers. There's a lot to unpack, groovier beats switching over to waves of total noise. It's hard not to get trapped in these huge sounds that were created so meticulously.

The song will be part of the upcoming compilation I Said No Doctors! See the video below via Tiny Mixtapes.
