Did you hear what I said about the pine cone? That’s a trick question. I don’t give a shit about forestry — only the most low-hanging of puns. (Can’t help it.)

But no, really — have you heard any of What I Said About the Pinecone, the new LP from Really Big Pinecone? If you haven’t, you’re missing out. The Brooklyn trio’s brittle, abstract indie rock is the perfect soundtrack for a brisk autumn stroll, organic and yet surprisingly ornate. (Then again, what would you expect from a band comprised of members of Celestial Shore and Guerilla Toss?) Philip Weinrobe (Pussy Riot, Damien Rice) produced the band’s really big sophomore effort, their crispest, most cohesive release to date.

In anticipation of the album’s release this Friday via Babe City, CLRVYNT is premiering the entire record in full, right here, right now. Listen below, and scroll down for the artwork and track list.

What I Said About The Pinecone arrives October 21 via Babe City. Pre-order it here.
