Ever since they burst onto the scene in late 2015 from the ashes of hardcore heroes Scalped, Primal Rite have been maintaining a steady, punishing musical campaign. The Bay Area wrecking crew pushed out two 7" EPs in 2016, both of them excellent: last spring's Hatred in a Mask of Flowers, followed up in October by Complex Life of PassionThe band's warpath shows no signs of slowing this year, as evidenced by their new ripper "Sensory Link to Pain." The title track to Primal Rite's forthcoming 7", due out soon via Revelation Records, this three-and-a-half-minute-plus scorcher spikes the foursome's Integrity-inspired cocktail with dashes of death and thrash. It's less a song than a super-collision between old-school metal and 21st century hardcore —and it kicks ass. Listen below, and scroll down to check out the band's new tour poster.

Primal Rite's latest 7" arrives March 17 via Revelation Records
