Planning for Burial's blend of shoegaze, post-rock and metal coalesce into an energy that's meditative and powerful. Next Friday, March 10, Thom Wasluck will be releasing his third full-length, Below the House, and today he dropped a new song from the record, "Dull Knife, Pt. 1." The thickness of the riff lands on a catchy edge or two, before funneling back into a pathway of fuzz and effects. Softer and heavier sounds play off each other, constantly buried in the rest of the energy that's burst out. It's another PFB track that's worth getting lost in.
