Open City are a true supergroup, looping in Dan Yemin (Kid Dynamite, Lifetime, Paint It Black) on guitar, Andy Nelson (Paint It Black, Dark Blue, Ceremony) on bass, Rachel Rubino (Bridge & Tunnel) on vocals and Chris Wilson (Ted Leo & the Pharmacists) on drums. The band has been quietly gigging in the Philadelphia area, and recently added dates in the mid-Atlantic / Northeast. Until now, little has been heard from them outside of those shows, but now comes word that the band has a new LP, available TODAY.

The LP is comprised of 10 songs and was produced by wunderkind Will Yip. Much like many of Yemin and Nelson's collective projects, the record blurs the lines between punk, hardcore and melodicism, alternately opting for scream-y vocals or an attitude-drenched Kim Gordon approach. The whole thing is super post-hardcore, but quietly very much faithful to fans of each band. Check it out in full below; I dare you not to hit that replay button.
