Meat Wave are gearing up to release their new, Steve Albini-produced album, The Incessant, later this month. On the heels of first single "Run You Out" (which premiered right here a few weeks back), the Chicago trio has unveiled "Bad Man," another cut off the LP (which hits shelves February 17 via SideOneDummy). It finds the band battling their demons with jagged guitars, relentless, snare-heavy beats and frontman Chris Sutter's simple, self-flagellating screams of "I'm a bad man!" Albini's production further encapsulates the band's blaring angst; the Shellac vibes are strong on this one.
