Lowercase Noises, aka Andy Othling, has been producing atmospheric ambient tunes since 2009, self-releasing the entire time and staying true to himself. This May, he'll be releasing his newest record, The Swiss Illness, and today you can hear one of its songs, "A Course of Strengthening Medicines." Its video shows you a wide swath of forest-scapes from a lake view, each with colors overlapping and melting into the frame. The visuals evolve alongside the music, which delicately evolves from soft piano twinkles to deep, powerful overtures. It's a beautiful, melancholy piece, a good reminder of why Lowercase Noises is a scene fixture.
