Kurt Vile Sings Holiday Version of ‘Wakin on a Pretty Day’

Holiday specials can be pretty corny. Ranging from a bunch of random pop stars lip-synching covers, to one of the most confused exercises in TV specials, it's always going to be a mixed bag. Sometimes you'll get something pretty killer, like IFC's Joe’s Pub Presents: A Holiday Special. In addition to a house band backed by The Dap Kings, the show played host to a variety of different musicians, like Kurt Vile. For the special, he performed a special more "holiday" version of his 2013 track "Wakin on a Pretty Day" with the help of host Tony Hale, Lisa Loeb, and Bridgett Everett. It's pretty goofy.
