Kane Strang is an indie musician out of New Zealand that has an ear for huge hooks and songs that will cling to your ears hours after you've stopped listening. Today, he's released a new single, "Oh So You're Off I See," the first track off an upcoming album to be released on Dead Oceans. The song is a series of highs and lows, build-ups that lead into rad beats, Strang reminiscing on his friends and past. It's all tied together with a thorough bassline, his voice cool and confident over the peaks and valleys of the music, everything coalescing into a poppy and emotive finish.
