Joan of Arc have announced their first LP in five years, just in time to celebrate 20 years of existence. He's Got the Whole This Land Is Your Land in His Hands will hit in January 2017 via Joyful Noise, and the band has released the new video for the driving, synth-glitchy "This Must Be the Placenta," just in time for their set of dates on the East Coast this weekend (see below).

Joan of Arc is primarily a vehicle for Tim Kinsella, but the 2016 incarnation also consists of Bobby Burg, Theo Katsaounis, Melina Ausikaitis and Jeremy Boyle. Check out the video for "This Must be the Placenta," but be warned: There are no actual placentas in the video, though the clip may give you a fear of red sweatshirts.
