Grails are going strong in the months leading up to their first album in six years, Chalice Hymnal. Up until this point, we've heard a couple jams from the record, including the synth-based "Pelham" and the psychedelic title track. Today, the band released a new song, "Deep Snow II." The onset shows the Portland, Ore., outfit at their most restrained — a gentle melody hangs over the air, drums hitting and turning into dust. Things begin to pick up, the track hitting its stride while the rest of the instrumentation wafts in. Acoustic guitars hum and strum, providing a giant blanket for you to wrap around yourself.
